Lee Stafford Bleach Blondes | Review

August 10, 2014

Sorry I just needed to show you all how pretty it looks inside - easily pleased, I know!

As some of you may know, my hair is 'ombre-d', or it should be. I got my hair done about 3 months ago now I think and I asked for ombe because I was very bored with my hair. Unfortunately my hair dresser didn't know the difference between ombre and dip-dye so I have a big chunk of blonde hair at the end of my head, which is far from my desired look.

I had to work with it though because it was expensive and I'm not made of money. The colour of my dip-dye/ombre whatever it is, was a horrible blonde. It was almost ginger. I was the same colour as my dog. I was not happy and so, I researched some products that would save my hair somewhat.
I came across this shampoo on Zoella's channel I think. I was kind of terrified to use purple shampoo in my hair but I decided to give it a whirl and Oh my Goodness did I see a difference? It was amazing!
This product really did an outstanding job on my orange, damaged ends. It made my hair blonde and it looked a little more like what I wanted in the first place but not only that, my ends were softer and far less frizzy.

I use the shampoo once a week and if I'm going out for a night I mix a little bit with my conditioner just to ensure extra blondness for my night out because blondes have more fun, right?!

If you're looking for a good, affordable purple shampoo I would highly recommend this as it has done wonders for me and I honestly swear by it now!

  1. Is it better than touch of silver?
I recently used Fudge's whiter shade of pale, it's more of a proper toner than a shampoo, but it does say you can use it to wash through as well as a proper leave on toner. I suffer dreadfully from yellowy bits in my hair from dying it. :O

    1. I'm only after noticing your comment so sorry for the late reply :( I think it's better than touch of silver and it smells waaaay better (I hate the smell of touch of silver!). If you suffer from the dreaded yellowy bits I definitely recommend this shampoo and possibly the conditioner? I haven't used it but if its as good as the shampoo you're sorter :D X

  2. I would be terrified too if I was blonde and someone gave me a purple shampoo. Glad that it worked out well for you and that you achieved what you actually wanted. :)
