Soap & Glory 'The Fab Pore' Face Mask

December 15, 2015

'The Fab Pore' is a 2-in-1 facial mask and peel which promises to purify and unclog pores, prevent breakouts and reduce inflammation if used once or twice a week. This mask works best for oily/combination skin as it tightens pores. I would not recommend it for dry skin as it may be too harsh and leave your skin feeling extra dry and uncomfortable.

The mask itself is a thick, creamy mint green mask with mircobeads through it to cleanse and exfoliate any dead skin. The mask smells like mint and nettle and is really refreshing. With this mask, a little goes a long way so a grape sized amount would be perfect. I apply it to my problem areas for a quick fix, or all over my face for a full-on treatment. I massage it into my face to allow the microbeads to take action and deep clean my pores. It feels cooling on the face and gives a minty feeling similar to how toothpaste feels on your skin (which doesn't sound very appealing but trust me, IT IS).

The Fab Pore mask can be left for 5 minutes for a quick cleanse or 15 minutes for a deep clean (sometimes I leave it for up to 40 minutes though, for an episode of Gossip Girl!). After removing the mask with a hot damp face cloth my skin looks and feels fully cleansed. It looks glowing with no dead skin patches. My skin felt clean and smooth and my pores looked a lot cleared. It does, however, leave my skin feeling slightly tight which I do quite like after a mask because I feel like it has worked.

The following day my skin normally looks and feels clearer and any blemishes I had have been almost all been cleared away. Yet another fab product from the Soap & Glory skin care range.

  1. This sounds like absolute heaven. I've just had to add this to my 'to try' list - seriously, this is everything I want in a face mask! Great post
